    In Albion, Dane Co., Wis., April 18th, 1869, after a brief illness of two weeks, of pneumonia, Abel Maxson, aged about 79 years. Bro. Maxson made a profession of religion more than forty years ago, and united with the Seventh-day Baptist Church in Friendship, N. Y. About twenty years since, he removed to Albion, Wis., and became a member of the Seventh-day Baptist Church in that place, of which he remained a worthy member until his death. "Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his."
