Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al Saud ( ʿAbd al ʿAzīz bin Muḥammad Āl Suʿūd; 1720–1803) was the second ruler of the Emirate of Diriyah. He was the eldest son of Muhammad bin Saud[1] and the son-in-law of Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab. Abdulaziz ruled the Emirate from 1765 until 1803.[2] He was nicknamed by his people as the savior of his time (mahdi zamanihi in Arabic) due to his fearless activities.
