MILITARY RECORDS:

Aaron Seaver enlisted as a Private in the 3rd Regiment (Williams' Regiment) of the Vermont Militia in the War of 1812 [list of Service Records for the War of 1812, National Archives Microfilm Series M602, Roll 185].

CENSUS:

In the 1830 United States Census, Aaron Seaver was a head of household in Avon township, Livingston County, New York. The household included ?? free white males under age 5, one free white male aged 30 to 40, ?? free white females aged 5 to 10 and one free white female aged 30 to 40 (1830 United States Census, Livingston County, New York, Population Schedule, Avon, Page 031, FHL Microfilm 0,017,153).

In the 1850 US census, the Haron Seaver family resided in Grand Blanc township, Genesee County, MI. The family included Haron (sic) Seaver (age 57, farmer, $1,000 in real property, born VT), Sarah Seaver (age 50, born NY), Luther Seaver (age 23, born NY), Charles Seaver (age 19, born NY) and Mortimer Seaver (age 12, born VT). [FHL Microfilm 0,443,566, page 570, dwelling #72].

In the 1860 US census, Sarah Seaver (age 60, female, farmer, born NY, $2500 in real property, $575 in personal property) and Mortimer Seaver (age 22, male, farm laborer, born NY) resided in Grand Blanc Town, Genesee County, MI next to the Charles Seaver family and the Luther Seaver family [FHL Microfilm 0,803,544, page 243, line 10, dwelling #1901, family #1866].

The gravestones of Aaron and Sarah Seaver are in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc, Genesee County, Michigan. They read:

Aaron Seaver, died Sept. 25, 1857, aged 64 years, 5 mos. 6 days.

Sarah Seaver, died Jan. 29, 1864, aged 64 years, 5 mos. 20 days.
