Watchers

This picture is of the West Union Christian Church Ladies Aid. The West Union Church stood on West Union Road, between Kill Road and Acadia, next to the cemetery. The church building is no longer there. The minister came from Delphos.

According to Lynn Brown Cummins (Mrs. Kirby Cummins), the West Union Ladies Aid had an annual fundraiser at the Spencerville Grange. It featured oyster stew, vegetable soup, barbecue and other food, as well as an auction.
