Help:Assertions of wikidata item

The Wikidata project was created to establish a common set of unique object identities, relationships, and other properties within the scope of the various projects supported by the Wikimedia Foundation.

For example, Wikidata is used, by the various language versions of Wikipedia, to associate pages for a common item.

The Wikidata fact assertion template has been created to provide an active and easily identifiable association between a Person page and a corresponding Wikidata item identifier.

• Create a Reference Number fact, leaving the date field empty.
• Place a reference to the Wikidata template in the description field:

{{Wikidata|Q712580}}

Examples

• Person:Geoffrey I of Anjou, a medieval French nobleman from the medieval house of Ingelger
• Henry Fonda, 20th century American actor.
