Dlbradley1 notes that while the wife of John Edmiston (1) has not been proven to be Margaret Buchanan, available data suggests this is so. Specific data on this point is needed. The Edmiston's settled on Borden's grant in the 1740's, and lived near several persons using the Buchanan surname. These persons are probably related to each other, and one of them is presumably the father of Margaret. Q 16:16, 12 February 2009 (EST)
