  3. Source:Barry, William. History of Framingham, Massachusetts, p. 550 (and Bond copying Barry, as well as more modern sources like Source:Pike, Ruth G. Some Descendants of James Pike of Charlestown and Reading, Massachusetts), say that Mary is the daughter of Allen Flagg of Watertown, but this can be shown to be false since Allen Flagg's probate indicates his daughter Mary married William Hagar. It would not be surprising if she was William's cousin, Person:Mary Flagg (7), but no evidence can be found. This Mary is mentioned fairly recently in MEHGR, vol. 163, p. 21, with no known marriage (her father died 1690, long before she would have married, so his probate file is no help, and her mother doesn't have a probate file).
