    Did you know that the marriage of William Charles Overend to Sarah Kyle took
    place a St. James' Anglican Church,Orillia? March 14, 1850.
    Wiilam was not a Catholic so they could not be married in the Catholic Church.
    The story does however go that William while in the well doing repairs had
    the ladder take away by Sarah who only agreed to return it after William had
    promised to convert. Therefore they were able to be both buried at St. Michaels'.
