- By perusing some British histories of Wiltshire, I have found no reference to an "Old Salisbury Parish". Referenced is the "Borough of Old Salisbury", an area surrounding the Cathedral. Also considered Ancient Parishes in Salisbury are St. Martin's parish, St. Thomas' parish and St. Edmund's parish. I didn't find any precise descriptions of each parish, but have to assume that each parish surrounds a particular church. Until the church of this marriage is discovered, perhaps Salisbury, Wiltshire, England is the most accurate place description for now.
