    SUMMACH - The passing of Wilfred August Summach, age 77 years of Saskatoon, SK, occurred peacefully in his sleep at home on Tuesday, December 1, 1992. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 7 at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Wayne McLaren from Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North. Courtesy parking is available directly South of the Chapel. Surviving are his two sons, <names of living individuals have been removed> both of Saskatoon; three grandchildren, <names of living individuals have been removed>; three brothers, Harvey (<living>) of Creston, BC, Ray (<living>) of Saskatoon and <living> of Asquith, SK; three sisters, Jean (Harvey) Sage of Saskatoon, <living> (Bill) Felske of Calgary, AB and <living> (Ivan) Smith of Delisle and one brother-in-law, Everett (<living>) Young of Asquith. He was predeceased by his wife Irene in 1990; his parents, August and Minnie Summach; his brother, Eldon, and sister, Maureen. Wilf Summach was born south of Asquith on June 12, 1915 and received his education at Avondale School and Delisle High School. He married Irene McIntosh on June 12, 1940 and they farmed at Asquith until 1975 when they retired to Saskatoon. He was a Life Member and a secretary of the Asquith Masonic Lodge #146, A.F. and A.M., G.R.S. and a Past Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Melody Chapter #133 at Perdue, SK. He was a Councillor (sic) of Vanscoy Municipality for seventeen years and served on many committees over the years. Hunting and fishing were his favorite pastimes. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 438 2nd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 2C3. The pall-bearers will be Jack Puranen, Dennis Puranen, Dwight Smith, Larry Summach, Mel Weber and Ron Bold. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are in care of PARK FUNERAL CHAPEL.
