The Rev. Thomas Poyer and Frances had at least four children, the eldest was Daniel. Two children died before Frances died in 1719, leaving one child who may have lived to adulthood, name unknown.

Also in the household

In 1715 Rev. Thomas Poyer baptized Sarah, Phillis, and Henry of his household, who were Africans/African Americans and presumably enslaved. In 1716 Simon joined the household and in 1718 the reverend baptized Judith, the daughter of Simon and Sarah. In 1717, a poor widow, Angel Spreet (no further evidence of Angel Spreet found, name may be mangled) was indentured to the reverend for a term of years, probably to pay the Captain for her passage from the old country. In 1718, Nicholas Tedry, a Palatine, was bound to Rev. Thomas Poyer.
