The ceremony and McBrayers have 50th anniversary Fifty years ago--on Aug. 1, 1915--S. Elizabeth Nelson became the bride of Thomas R. McBrayer at Cumberland Gap, Tenn. McBrayer practiced law in Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia until his retirement In Long Beach in 1943. The couple resides at 2930 Long Beach Blvd. Mmes. R. E. Watkins Sr. and C. E. Gilbert of Long Beach are the Walkins' daughters. They also have three granddaughters, three step-grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren- Due to illness in the family, there will be no golden wedding celebration.
