  2. The Rowley VRs, Vol. 2, p. 14, shows the deaths of two unnamed children of Thomas "Geage". One is "still born" ---, 1714, and other died 5 Oct 1716, called a "young ch.". Mehitable was bp. 1714, so clearly not stillborn, which suggests she might have been a twin. Given the viability of twins in that era, it seems quite likely then, that she was the "young ch." that d. 1716. However Early Settlers of Rowley does not show the still born death and chooses to interpret the 1716 death as an infant just born? No records of a Mehitable Gage are found in either Rowley or Milford, and Early Settlers of Rowley has no further information for her so does not contradict the suspicion that the remaining twin Mehitable d. 1716.
