↑ A transcription of the Barbour records, here, gives the marriage date as "Jan. 5, 1747/8", but as this is a copy of Barbour's copy of the original, and as the wedding occurred in Salem where both the marriage and intention were recorded, and as the first child was not born until Jun 1750, it is assumed that 1748/49 is correct.
