Email from Jack McAnally after a re-reading of Samuel's pension application: The marriage of Vashti and Samuel was performed by a Hobbs and reference to Culpeper as the county for the marriage is on more than one sworn statement. Only other thing of possible importance was the remark that Samuel was almost blind and moved to Morgan county, ILL to be with his children (not his daughter) which may imply that other relatives were in Morgan Co., IL than just the Wrights. The person sending some of the forms for the Wrights was John B. Duncan and he may be in someway related as that person stated he was at the death of Samuel Jackson. --Janiejac 08:12, 6 April 2009 (EDT)
