SAMUEL DICKINSON (John) b. Oyster Bay, L. I., 26/1 mo. (Mar.) 1666; d. before 1733 at Cedar Swamp ; m. Lydia , parentage unknown. He was a House Carpenter, and lived at Cedar Swamp on property lately belonging to William H. Simonson ; 1703 and several other years Vestryman and Warden of St. George's Church Hempstead; 1707 Lieut. Queens Co. Militia. 1711 Captain ; Justice of the Peace, and Supervisor several years ; 1722 Ex- exutor Estates of Daniel Townsend and John Townsend at ye Mill. Will dated 1728 pro. 1733/4 filed N. Y. City, Liber 12 p. 131. Issue :
