At the time of his 1742 will Richard identifies four sons and two daughters, none of whom have reached their majority. If we assume that they are all under 21, they would have been born no earlier than 1721. Allowing 2 years between children implies that the eldest could have been born no later than 1731. This in turn implies a DOM of no later than 1730, and no earlier than 1720.
