[Note: the Harvard VRs give the birth of son Luther 30 Mar 1775 to this couple (Nourse's History of Harvard has the same two dates). One would suspect one date is off by a year, or some indication would be expected that this preceded marriage. The ordering of the original records may or may not offer clues, but since the History of Harvard presents family registers, whereas marriages are found in chronological order, to the extent it is reflecting the format of the original town records, one might suspect the birth date of Luther is the one that might be off? The next birth isn't until Dec 1777, 1 3/4 years after Mar 1776, 2 3/4 years after Mar 1775, so isn't conclusive.]
