    "Nicolas Sordelet, son of the deceased Jean Francois Sordelet, farmer and resident of Courchaton, and his wife, Anne Francoise Bertenand, deceased at Courchaton, appeared and was accompanied by Jean Claude Sordelet, farmer , age thirty-seven, Jean Francois Sordelet, farmer, age twenty-eight, both brothers, Claude Bourvier, a farmer, age thirty-two, Nicolas Sordelet, a farmer, age seventy-two, and Jean Baptiste Revard, a farmer, age twenty-five years old. And, Jeanne Claude Chiquelin, daughter of the deceased Jacques Chiquelin and his wife, Maria Francoise Saucey, who consents to the marriage.
