Family History

Based on the 1860 census for Bureau, Illinois, they came to the USA from Ontario (Canada West) between 1856 and 1859. It appears that he has a sister, Hannah, who married Angus McPherson and also lived in Marshall, Iowa. In the 1851 census for Bromley, Renfrew, Ontario (Canada West), there is a "Harret" (born about 1827, age 25) with James & Ann vaughn.
