There Was No Son Joshua in This Family

There was no son Joshua in the family of Mark and Mary (-----) (Fantinge) Bachelor. Pierce names Joshua, an unnamed wife, and three children, John, Elizabeth and Hannah. That John, who married Rebecca (-----) was the Watertown/Dedham/Reading man who came in 1634 and is not connected with this family. Elizabeth and Hannah are the daughters of Joseph, Elizabeth marrying James Davis of Gloucester and Hannah marrying John Warner of Ipswich. Savage names Joshua, but gives him the three children of Joseph who survived to receive legacies from the estate of their childless uncle Henry Bachelor.
