  2. ↑ Lucy's recorded birth date is prior to the parents marriage, but fits well with other siblings, showing a pattern of births every two years, suggesting the possibility that the parents marriage was misrecorded? A marriage one year earlier would allow the father to be "of Watertown" as the marriage record says, in 1758, but having a child in Worcester in 1759. The Whitney Research Group gives a good overview here though it offers no explanation for this.
