    The identity of Joshua Abell's fourth wife is not proven. However, a detailed review of Chancellor Walworth's Hyde Genealogy finds no individual born "Lydia Hyde", and only one "Lydia" widow of a Hyde husband, available to marry Joshua in 1762. This Lydia's first husband, Elisha Hyde, died in 1759.
