Subsequent years of exhaustive search ... have given no slightest reason to question that earlier belief of the marriage of Abigail, but have strenghthened it instead, until now by the weight of cumulative evidence and the elimination of any other possibility we dare finally to claim that Abigail Kendall was married at Sudbury on January 28, 1752 to Jonas Holden being 'both of Sudbury'."
