    'Agnes's parents, John Wylley and Joan Marshall, were married at Thorley on 7 October 1540. Spencer Miller [NYGBR 67:46-55] reported that John Wylley married Joan Marsead; however, the original register clearly shows that her maiden name was Marshall.'
