↑ Reports of a marriage 12 Mar 1661 (see, for example, NEHGR, 106:89) are probably a corruption of 12 Mar 1670-71, the date she was admitted to the church in Charlestown as Mary Whittamore daughter of Deacon Upham (see NEHGR, p. 23:435). No such marriage record has been located.
