Claims Sarah Hawkins m. William Coppin 26 Sep 1622 in Bocking, England, and that John m. Susanna, surname either Stacy or Clark. Whichever marriage is correct, the last child in this marriage should be Sarah, b. Ipswich 3 Nov 1641.

Whipple, Sarah, w. John, [died] June 14, 1658. CT.R. [This appears to be reason for believing John's wife was named Sarah, and since Anne Hawkins m. Matthew Whipple, it is apparently assumed that this is her sister Sarah Hawkins, but see S1. In addition, there is a marriage record, p. 2:453, "Whipple, John, and Elizabeth Woodman, May 5, 1659. CT.R.", which suggests the death record is being applied to the wrong John Whipple. Lieut. John Whipple, son of this John's brother Matthew Whipple, m. (1) Sarah Kent, (2) Elizabeth Woodman.]
