"The parish registers of Charlton-Musgrove, co. Somerset, show that Williama Haskell, the father, was a church warden there in 1627 and was buried at that place on May 11, 1630. His widow Elinor married secondly John1 Stone who brought her and the Haskell children to Salem in 1635 or 1636."
