It is speculated based on name, age and lack of contradicting evidence, that John Converse b. 1761, m. 1783 Susanna Tay, then m. 1831 Lydia (Carter?) Batchelder and d. 1833. There is no direct evidence that these potentially 3 John Converses are indeed the same man.
