Woburn Daily Times, Sept. 18, 1936: CONNOLLY--DURKEE Simplicity marked the wedding ceremony which was performed last evening at St. Charles' Rectory, this city, and united in marriage Miss Mary M. Durkee and Mr. John J. Connolly, both of this city. The Rev. Charles P. Heaney, pastor, performed the eight o'clock ceremony, and the couple was attended by Miss Ann L. and Henry C. Connolly of this city, sister and brother of the bridegroom. Both the bride and bridegroom are well known here, Mrs. Connolly having been graduated with the class of '28, St. Charles High School. She is a member of the St. Charles Notre Dame Alumnae Association and is employed by the Joseph T. Ryerson Steel Company in Cambridge. Mr. Connolly was graduated with the class of '28 Woburn High School and from the School of Practical Arts in Boston. He is affiliated with the New England Branch of the Wheeling Steel Corp. Sales Department. The couple will reside at 146 Montvale Avenue, this city.
