    [Afton page 16-17] Johannes Zimmermann, Mennonite, 46, born at the Baldenweg farm, presently tenant of an estate in Lorrach, appears before the BA Lorrach and wonders why the BM Wittental does not want to recognize the home-right for his children, although he has always had home-right there and also his sister with 3 illegitimate children was assigned to this community about 15 years ago.
    He says he was married in 1822 in Munzingen by Jakob Zimmermann, the foreman of the Mennonite community there, to his wife who was born in Dürmenach, Alsace, and whose father's name was Jakob Schneider . . .
