"I will tell you about mother's people. Her father & mother came from Germany and their name was Zimmerman (both of them). Her name was Barbara and his was Jake (I think). She had only one brother named Chris & he died at 32 & left six children 4 boys & 2 girls. Her oldest sister married Joel Steckley & they had 6 children 3 boy & 3 girls. Barbara married John Schmeekle. She had five girls and one boy. Katie married Jonas Steckley & they had 5 boys named Noah, Simon, Eli, Menno & Mose & three girls.
