Text from a newspaper clipping, probably Louisville Herald or, less likely,Canton Repository: "Golden Wedding Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Lamiell celebrated their golden wedding on Wednesday, at their home near Marlboro. Mr. Jacob J. Lamiell and Celestine Lallement were united in the holy bonds of matrimony at Louisville, O., by Rev. Father Weaver (sic, should be Weber) in St. Louis's Catholic church, January 8, 1852. The immediate family were all present and among the guests were Rev J. P. Kumert (sic, should be Kunnert), of New Washington; Mr. and Mrs. Phil. Akins, Alliance; Miss Aurelia Balizet, Meadville, Pa.; Frank Grisez, Maximo; Tom Weingerter (sic, should be Wingerter), Akron; Mrs. M. Balmat, Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Holibaugh, Lloyd Holibaugh, Marlboro. A snap shot picture was taken of the crowd. The many beautiful presents which were received, were highly appreciated and were presented by Rev. J. P. Kumert (sic, should be Kunnert) with an appropriate address. A sumptuous dinner was served, which was greatly enjoyed by the guests." - - - - - - - -Newspaper clipping scanned from original clipping from Marilyn Haren.
