The most reliable sources give only 4 children of this marriage: John, James, Lydia and Abel. Some compilers add Mary (confused with Martha, daughter of their son James) and David/Daniel (this may be based on a question posed in the Boston Transcript in 1923 listing Dan instead of John; there was a Daniel Franklin born about 1690, but he is apparentaly unrelated - see Franklin Cousins web page).}
