Serene Farmer contributed this information from the Bible of her Great-grandmother, Mary Magdalene Dillman Aldridge Harp, 1830-1929, who received it from her brother, John Harvey Dillman, 1832-1919.
Jacob Dillman Daga came to America from Germany or Switzerland, in the early 19th Century. He dropped the Daga and named his first son, Jacob Dillman, who was born in Virginia and was married to Margaret Lehman. They came to Preble County, Ohio, before the 11th of January 1819, as that is the date of his will.

3. John Dillman married in Preble County, Ohio 21st September 1820 Hannah Landis.
4. Abraham Dillman married Betsey Hypes.
5. Michael Dillman married Susannah Hypes.
6. Hannah Dillman married Henry Brower (Brougher).
7. Sallie Dillman married in Preble County Ohio 21st October 1830 Jacob Row.
8. Joseph Dillman married in Preble County, Ohio 3rd August 1818 Kate Landis.
9. Mary Dillman unmarried.
10. Daniel Dillman married in Augusta County, Virginia 28th July 1799 Elizabeth Spitler.
