  3.   The article "Poulter Family of Billerica, Mass.", NEHGR, Vol. 141, p. 221, adds Ephraim "listed without birthdate (Littleton VRs, 401)" and Mary "listed without birthdate (ibid, 402)". These may belong to the family, but the source cited is not the Littleton VRs, it is an appendix in that work made up of the notes of Samuel Smith representing his research, not primary records. As neither the notes, nor the article, explain their basis for including the children, and coverage of the family in the notes includes words like perhaps and probably frequently, and possibly some errors (two sons named Isaac?), they were not listed here until the evidence for it is known.
