    The eleventh of July 1780, after one publication made without opposition at the sermon of the high mass, considering the dispensation of the two others and the permission to delay the betrothal untiil today granted by My Lord, the Bishop of Nantes, dated yesterday, signed by de Ramasseul; considering also the dispensation of caonsanguinity of fourth to fourth all duly insinuated and verified, have been by me, undersigned vicar, betrothed and married in the chapel of Saint Gabriel, ISAAC HEBERT, printer, Acadian, aged thirty years, son of deceased Ambroise Hebert and deceased Marie Magdeleine Bourg, naive of the parish of Saint Pierre and Saint Paul, diocese of Quebec and resident of this parish at Gigan; and MARIE DAIGLE, aged nineteen years, daughter of Ustache D'aigle and Magdeleine Dupuy, Acadian, present and consenting, native of the parish of Saint Charles, diocese of Quebec and resident of this parish also at Gigan. Witnesses of the present marriage were, on the side of the groom; Ambroise Hebert, his brother; Jean Pierre Bourg, his first cousin, undersigned; and on the side of the bride: Joseph Dupuy, her uncle, resident of the parish of Saint Similien; Paul Boudreau, her first cousin, undersigned as well as the groom. The bride declared not knowing how to sign.
