Note from A. B. Jaques, Clerk of town of Haverhill, Mass.: I find the following and none other on our Town Records: [includes] Isaac Foote, of Amesbury and Miriam Stevens, of Plaistow, married December 13, 1757.
[Note: p. 289: Pasco Foote of Salem was never found by the author to be related to Nathaniel Foote, so courtesy coverage is given to only one line of Pasco's descent. Thus, this notice of Isaac by the town clerk is all there is. Source:Foote, Abram William. Foote Family : Comprising the Genealogy and History of Nathaniel Foote, of Wethersfield, Conn., and His Descendants; Also a does a better job, but coverage of Pasco's line is still relegated to an appendix. It mentions Isaac's parents Pasco Foote and Jemima Colby, but shows only one of their many children, i.e., not Isaac, in its coverage on p. 537.]
