This reconstruction assumes that:

1) Maria A Stansell found living in Michigan is the same Mary A White wife of Henry Stansell.

2) The Stansell men found living with Maria A Stansell in Michigan in 1860 are her younger sons.

3) The sellers of Henry and Maria's land in Section 28 in 1861 are the heirs of Henry and Maria, ie their surviving sons. The proceeds were probably shared with their sisters

4) George Stansell does not appear in the 1860 census while Harriet appears as a widow - he probably died before Maria his mother died.
