Frank and Bernadette were married by Rev. Allgeier. Frank was a farmer and was 32 years old. Bernadette was 24.

They had eight children, seven sons and one daughter.

Frank's obituary reads, "RORICK. Frank Rorick, 47, World War veteran and resident of Jefferson township, died at his house on R. R. No. 2, New Haven, after a week's illness of pneumonia. He was employed by the state highway department. He was a member of the Rainbow division and served overseas 22 months during the war. Surviving are the widow, Bernadette; a daughter, Theresa Ann; seven sons, Joseph, Richard, Howard, Paul, Arnold, Herman and Norman, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. Lucette Lamont, Jefferson township, Mrs. Lewis Schlink, Adams township, and Mrs. Joseph Mellon of Hobart; three brothers, Clem and Justin of Jefferson township and Nathan Rorick of Hoagland. The deceased was a member of St. Louis Catholic church and the Holy Name society. The body was taken to the Julian Schone funeral home and will be returned to the home this evening. Funeral service will be held Saturday morning." [Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, Thursday 20 April 1939, pg. 2]

Bernadette's obituary reads, "BERNADETTE L. RORICK. Bernadette L. Rorick, 80, of Webster Road, New Haven, died at 8 a.m. Thursday in Byron Health Center where she resided 2 1/2 years. Surviving are six sons, Joseph F. and Herman G., both of Huntertown, Richard R. of R. R. 1, Monroeville, Howard L. of Fort Wayne, Paul W. of R. R 2, New Haven, and Norman D. of R. R. 2, Decatur; two daughters, Teresa A Kenny of Mudelein, Ill., and Mary B. Acres of Churubusco; and a sister, Lela Henry of Fort Wayne. Services will be at 9:40 a.m. Monday in Marquart Funeral Home, Monroeville, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church, Besancon. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where the rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in the church cemetery." They are both buried in the Besancon Cemetery at St. Louis Catholic Church in New Haven, Indiana.
