Frank and Genevieve were married by Rev. Allgeier. It was the first marriage for both of them. Frank was 28 years old and Genevieve was 24. Frank was a farmer.

In 1942, when Frank registered for the draft for World War II, he was a farmer working for himself in Jefferson Township in Allen County, Indiana.

In 1946 and 1950, Frank and family were residing in Monroeville, Indiana. In 1946 he was a packer at the International Harvester Company. In 1950 he was a warehouseman there.

Frank and Genevieve had three children, one daughter and two sons.

Frank's obituary reads, "FRANK KENNERK. Frank Kennerk, 55, of R. R. 1, Monroeville, died at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital. A native of Jefferson Township, he moved to Monroeville about four years ago. He was a farmer and an employee of the International Harvester Company. He belonged to St. Rose Catholic Church at Monroeville and its Holy Name Society. Surviving are his wife, Genevieve; a daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Mulligan, Detroit; two sons, Donald and Robert, at home; a grandchild; his mother, Anna Kennerk, New Haven; three brothers, Paul, New Haven, Cornelius, Fort Wayne, and Clarence, Roanoke; and three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Scahak, Mrs. Mildred Rosswurm and Mrs. Gertrude Mattingly, New Haven. The body was taken to the Mongoven Funeral Home in New Haven." [Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, Wednesday 8 November 1950, pg. 28]

Genevieve's obituary reads, "MRS. GENEIEVE KENNERK. Mrs. Geneieve Kennerk, 72, of Monroeville, died at 7 p.m. yesterday in Turtle Creek Nursing Home where she had been a patient since September. She was a native of Allen County and belonged to the St. Rose Catholic Church and its Rosary Society, Monroeville. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John Mulligan, Bryan, Ohio; two sons Donald of Monroeville and Robert of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Mrs. Bernette Rorick and Mrs. Lela Henry, both of New Haven, and 10 grandchildren. The body is at Marquart Funeral Home, Monroeville." [Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, Sunday 14 November 1971, pg. 10A]

They are both buried in Besancon Cemetery at St. Louis Catholic Church in New Haven, Indiana.
