Marriage

On 29 Aug 1810 Flood Dugger obtained a marriage bond in Sumner Co., TN to marry Polly Bruce. Jesse Skeen was bondsman. They presumably married that day or shortly thereafter.

Children

They didn't appear to have a very large family based on their 1820-1850 census records.

  1. Wilie Dugger (1810/1815) is thought to be their son. Flood was bondsman for his 1829 marriage.
  2. Albert G. Dugger (1819) is almost certainly their son. He was living next door to Flood and Mary in 1850. In 1860 Mary, now widowed, was living with Albert and family.
  3. There also seems to be a daughter born ca 1810/1815 who was home in 1820 and 1830, but gone by 1840.
  4. John Dugger (c1835) was with Flood and Mary in 1850. He is most likely a grandson, a child of Wilie who seems to have died before then.

No other children are known, or suspected.
