Wilie Dugger was born ca 1810/1815 or thereabouts. This is based on census analysis and could be off somewhat. Wilie isn't a proven son of Flood and Mary Dugger, but Flood was the bondsman for his marriage in 1829 so that shows a connection. On 20 Oct 1829 Wilie Dugger obtained a marriage bond in Sumner Co., TN to marry Cynthia Stanly. Flood Dugger was bondsman. They were not listed on the 1830 census as far as could be found. They could have been living with Flood Dugger or perhaps Cynthia's parents, whomever they were. There was a John Stanly in Sumner in 1830, the only one of that surname listed. He is too young (c1800/1810) to be Cynthia's father, but could be a brother perhaps. Wilie Dugger wasn't found on the 1840 census either, nor in 1850. There is a Wylie Benjamin Dugger (c1815) who was in Giles Co., TN in 1840 and 1850 and in Collin Co., TX by 1860. This could be the same person, but perhaps not. There is a Wylie Dugger (c1820) who is thought to be a son of Dread Dugger. There could be some confusion here with this one.
