1850 Census: Annotated by John Alderman Esau (1810-1880) was the son of Esau and Nancy (Bobbitt) Worrell and he married in 1837, Nancy Edwards (1817-1899) daughter of John and Mary (Hague) Edwards. He and his wife were descended from some of the earliest settlers on Little Reed and they raised their family in the same settlement.
