    ... Daniel White,3 fourth child and third son of John and Elizabeth, b. about 1658 [sic], as he is called eight years old when his father's estate was settled in 1676. He remained with his mother until nineteen years old, as she testifies in the final settling of the estate, as found in "Wyman's Estates of Charlestown." We next find him at Cambridge Farms (now Lexington) where his name appears upon a tax list in 1696. He was constable in 1713 and 1714. He must have been a man of some dignity of character, for in seating the meeting house in 1731, he was placed in the second seat below. He m. Mary ___, who d. and he m. (2) Hannah ___. His will, 1738, mentions wife Hannah, sons Joseph, John, Stephen and Samuel, and daughters Sybil Mansfield and Sarah Locke. ...
