Benjamin and Charlotte Budd Johnson had nine children only. Have removed the extra children. They were Baptist. Family history says Benjamin's aunt Sarah Ford Fountain promised to leave their first child her clothes in her will if she were named for Sarah and baptized in the Church of England and the place was supposed to be Newport Pagnall, Buckingham. I never could find that baptism anywhere in the vicinity or at Newport Pagnall.

Well, the story was true. They went back to his father's parish, Tingewick, where all three of them were baptized on 26 Feb 1837. Now I have to check the aunt's will and see if she kept her promise.
