- ↑ Mary is named as the mother of the children, the last born in 1756, and also signed a deed 11 Jul 1746 Vol. 58, p. 152. Benjamin's probate tells us he left no widow so she died before 9 Jan 1764. Mary's children are named in the will of her father. Furthermore, the administrator William Fife is identified as a brother in law, 2nd husband of Mary's sister Abigail.
