    -12 Sep 1726 John Seagars, John Hoxey, Jr., George Babcock to Inventory the estate of Benjamin Holloway late deceased. Edward Mott and Samuel Warden are to come to the clerk with the widow Holloway and give bond to the Council that then she shall have Admin. on the estate of her husband Benjamin Holloway late of South Kingstown deceased.
    -10 Oct 1726 Penelope Holway shall have Admin. on the Estate of her husband Benjamin Holway late of South Kingstown deceased. Bondsmen: Edward Mott and either Capt. Hill or Jeremiah Fish.
    -16 Oct 1727 Edward Mott of Westerly did exhibit to the Town Council in behalf of his Daughter-in-law Penelope Holloway late of South Kingstown deceased an account of her Admin. she not being present by reason she is now confined to his Majesties Goal in Newport by virtue of an execution procured by Samuel Perry of Westerly;
    -12 Feb 1727/8 Penelope Holway of South Kingstown Admin. to the estate of her husband Benjamin Holway late of South Kingstown deceased appeared before Town Council of South Kingstown and desired approval of sd Council for selling the real estate that did belong to her sd husband according to the act of the General Assembly passed in October last; she says she has sold it to Samuel Perry of Westerly for £360 -- approved.
    -14 Oct 1728 Penelope Holoway had exhibited an Inventory into the registry of South Kingstown 14 Nov 1726. The estate ___ as followeth:
    To the maintenance of my son William Holway one year ten months at 5/week: £13
    To the maintenance of my son Samuel Holway one year ten months at 10/week: £26
    To the maintenance of my daughter Hannah Holway one year ten months at 10/week: £26
    To the maintenance of my young son Daniel Holway being but a bust? child and more than ordinary chargable for medicins ... one year 10 months at 12/week: £57
    To keeping my son Joseph Holway in his lameness 10 months being incapable of doing anything: £32
    To my own time and expense in having the estate settled as also my lying in gole 8 weeks. The accountant desireth allowance for sickness in her family in Aug 1727 for the space of 5 or 6 weeks myself & six of my children. The Town Council in consideration of the above account doth allow the sum of £108 to the Widow Holway.
    -21 Apr 1729 £1 9s was paid to the Widow Holway and also the sum of £8 by order of Town Council. Ordered that Penelope Holway shall have the remaining part of the £55 which did belong to her husband Benjamin Holway late of Kingstown deceased provided that Samuel Worden be her bonds man.
