    EMONS, Benjamin (-1710) & Elizabeth [COLLIER] (-1738); by 1693; Boston {Sherborn Hist. *87, *114; Story 2; EIHC 50:298}
    [Note: the only appropriate reference in Sherborn Hist. appears to be p. 57 1/4 (presumably a late addition) which says Elizabeth, d/o Moses Collier and Elizabeth Bullard of Woodbridge, NJ, was residing in Boston in 1727 having married a Mr. Emmons. This may bear further research. The reference to Story 2 means page 2 of Perley Derby's article on Elisha Story, which is found EIHC, Vol. 50, p. 298, which says that Elisha Story m. (1) 17 Oct 1706 "Lydia, daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth Emmons". Ironically, Lydia was baptized in 1681 and so would have belonged to the first wife, making this reference incorrect.]
