    There are a couple of mistakes made here, but it is the correct family. First, the census taker listed A.M. Houck [Andrus] as L.W. Houcke, and second the transcriber saw the ending of the surname as an 'e' instead of a flourish in the cursive writing. However, perhaps the census taker did spell the surname with an 'e' at the ending.
